Welcome to the home for South County Youth Lacrosse.  This site enables more efficient communication between SCYL and it's members along with the Rhode Island Youth Lacrosse League.

We hope that you find this site to be user friendly and it becomes a useful resource for all of your lacrosse needs.  Please take some time to check out the new areas we have for everyone.  We are trying to create a tool for you to be closer to SCYL.

SCYL is committed to serving the youth of South County who are interested in learning to be well rounded individuals who are willing to learn the great sport of Lacrosse as well as be taught life lessons along the the way.  All players will follow the "ROOTS" approach to the game as outlined by U.S. Lacrosse and the Positive Coaching Alliance.

All members will follow this Philosophy as it is the cornerstone for success in sports and life.  We at SCYL strive to teach this every day at practice and games.

SCYL strives to provide as many opportunities for our members to play the game thru not only the Spring season but a Fall offering as well as clinics and camps.  We will also provide information on other offerings that are near to SCYL.  All offerings are optional and have no impact on a members status within our program.
